Terms of Service
Last updated: September 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PickKit application ("the App") provided by NerdLabs ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using PickKit, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
PickKit is a Shopify application, embedded in the Shopify admin, that turns a merchant's open orders into warehouse pick lists: each item once, with the total to pick and the orders that need it, sorted by the bin location the merchant sets, with product photos, options, the line items' custom details and large quantities. Lists can be printed, split back into orders for packing (Pro plan), and their orders tagged as picked (Micro and Pro plans).
PickKit never changes your orders' items, fulfillments or payments. It writes only two things to your store, both at your request: the tag you choose on orders you mark as picked, and the bin location and note you set on each variant.
2. Account and Eligibility
- You must have an active Shopify store to use PickKit.
- You must have the authority to grant PickKit access to your Shopify store.
- You are responsible for the bin locations, filters and tags you and your staff set up, and for checking a pick list against your orders before shipping.
- You are responsible for the security of your Shopify account and for who on your staff can access the App.
3. Pricing and Billing
- PickKit offers a Free tier, free forever: pick lists of up to 25 orders, with photos, options, bin locations and printing.
- The Micro tier is $3.99/month and allows pick lists of up to 250 orders, bin-location import from CSV, and tagging picked orders.
- The Pro tier is $7.99/month and allows pick lists of up to 1,000 orders and adds the packing view.
- Paid tiers are billed through Shopify's billing system. A 7-day free trial applies to your first paid subscription.
- You may change or cancel your plan at any time through Shopify.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Use automated systems to scrape or extract data from the App beyond normal use
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
5. Data and Privacy
Your use of PickKit is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein. PickKit reads order data but never a customer's name, email, phone or address.
You retain ownership of all your store data and settings. We claim no ownership rights over your data.
6. Third-Party Services
PickKit runs on Shopify's platform and APIs. Your use of the App is also subject to the Shopify Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.
7. Accuracy of Information
PickKit works with the information in your store. While we strive for reliability:
- A pick list is a snapshot of your orders when it was built; orders changed or cancelled afterwards are not updated on it.
- Shopify only lets PickKit read orders from the last 60 days, so older orders are not included.
- PickKit does not guarantee that a pick list is complete or correct, and it is not responsible for wrong, missing or late shipments.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- PickKit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for mis-picks, missed or late shipments, lost sales, or other business losses arising from the use of, or reliance on, the App.
9. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.
10. Termination
- You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
- Upon termination, your access tokens are deleted immediately and the data held by the App is deleted when Shopify sends its shop-redaction request (about 48 hours later), per our Privacy Policy. Bin locations remain on your variants.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
